Awesome was able to go in and they had the 2 dozen white & 2 dozen brown butter pan buns I was looking for, grabbed a fresh lisf of whole wheat, a pkg of persians with $1 off coupon and a couple different flavours of mentos on sale chocolate mint and chocolate caramel. Great finds. The line was quite long at The til but they called 2 more staff to the cash and it was smooth sailing.
I went in to buy items for lunch, 2 cheese buns in a paper bag. I told the cashier that there were two cheese buns and she proceeded to open the bag and peer in and then made a comment about "are you sure they aren't pizza buns". Then she rang up my cheese buns as pizza buns and I told her that that she rang up my buns as pizza ones and she then told me "they use the same code". So then I sit there confused, WHY did you need to check if they were pizza buns in the first place! if they shared the same code!! I know she just wanted to look in the bag to make sure I wasn't lying. I'm not stupid. So now I wonder, did she rip me off? LOL!
Witnessed a checkout clerk being rude to an elderly lady. 1 Express till open plus 1 till that was serving a customer but had chained it off. When the elderly lady approached the Express lane with a full cart she was told in a bitchy tone to go to the other till. When the lady told the clerk that that till had just been closed the clerk snarled back in a bitchy tone, "Well she'll just have to open it again!". I've had issues at the till with angry employees taking out frustrations on customers too, usually due to a shortage of open tills. I'm done shopping at this store and will go to Metro now! I will also publish this on social media. If You want people's business the least you could do is be civil to your customers. Sincerely, A now former customer!
If you are in need of a moterized cart because of a disability this store does not have one. Other than that it's a nice place shop.
