The Nurses in ICU are amazing! Very patient and helpful when it comes to patient care. I hope they keep up the great work. Shout out to the stellar Laboratory too! Very professional and courteous in explaining the procedure to patients. Turnaround time for results was outstanding. I don't think the Lab gets enough credit for their behind the scene, unsung heroes of the hospital.****Just a note to infection control**** You might want to change the moisturing hand sanitizer on the wall just outside of ICU room #3. It expired in 2016!
Incredible staff! They do an amazing job!Considering how many people from all over the NWO region need this hospital, it certainly would be nice if Thunder Bay had more resources.That being said, the staff do an amazing job with the constraints they are given.Thanks again for serving our community and saving/improving countless lives!
Brutal experience in ER the past few times I have had to be in there. Kind, caring staff are there but hard to find, completely hit and miss. Urine on the floors, blood splatters all over the place and seniors on gurneys in the hallway lining both side or a corridor.. who the bell is running this place?!? Avoid this like the plague unless absolutely necessary!
Ive waited 5 1/2hours before I had to leave bc I wasnt able to stay longer as my kids needed to be picked up from school and still wasnt seen by a doctor I am 2 1/2 months pregnant and came in with sharp pains in my abdomen and spotting and extremely nauseous yet people with a sore leg were seen before me! When I asked this very rude nurse if they called me she said she will check but never came back out to let me know if they have or not, I was in the waiting room the whole time besides having to go to the bathroom to get sick. I went to the walk-in clinic before coming here but the doctor there told me I have to go to emerge, if the doctor at the walk-in sent me to emerge you would think I would be higher on the triage scale smh!
