Awesome campground. Quite, private dont even notice your neighbours and very helpful friendly staff.
We stayed at Trowbridge this past month and can't say enough good about it. The staff were incredibly helpful and would always follow up on any question right away. The sites are great although some will require an extra length of water hose and electrical cord. No worries for the average camper. We found the park to be spotlessly clean especially the showers and toilets. There are lots of trees and shade and it's a a short walk to the falls. Wonderful adventure. We'll be back.
Very beautiful camp sites and river. Dirty washrooms and lots of traffic but still enjoyed it. Had a large animal enter our campsite, probably a moose, added some excitement to our camp fire. Really like thunder bay in general.
Showed up a little late and read a sign that said NO CAMPING AFTER 7:00 WITHOUT RESERVATION OR BE TOWED!!! Just came from Manitoba where you could just camp and pay the next morning. Did not want to follow a schedule on my holiday.
Nice campground, very close to the city. Bathrooms are a little dingy, but the campsites are nice
