A very convenient location! Staff seem happy and enthusiastic. I ordered "The Big Finn" for breakfast, and was impressed by the portion size! However, the home fries lacked seasoning, and the Finnish pancakes were just a smidge less tasty than at Scandinavian Home.
Great, family-oriented atmosphere! Fantastic friendly service. We had a large group with lots of young children, they seemed happy to see us and went out of their way to make us feel welcome! We had a delicious breakfast of Finnish pancakes (like a crepe) with strawberries. Our waitress was attentive and the lady with the tea and coffee came back frequently. Great food and excellent service despite it being exceptionally busy.
Excellent breakfast restaurant... Finn pancakes are on par with any other Finn cuisine restaurant in Thunder Bay. Service was fast and friendly... Just wish it had longer hours.
