Great staff, cozy clean room for the family. The family and I would stay again.
I stayed here in Sept 2012. Absolutely THE friendliest hotel I stayed in on my trip. The manager was gracious and accommodating. For a small older hotel this one really stood out and I'd stay again if I were traveling through.
What an amazing experience we had at Old Country Inn!! Far exceeded any expectation we had. I had read other reviews about how great the managers were and thought... "ok, that's good." Well, they are AMAZING!! I am still blown away by their hospitality. They went above and beyond in every way. The motel is nothing fancy, a cozy, welcoming place with down to earth people and facilities. The kitchenette was a bonus! Tub was nice too. If you are coming to Thunder Bay to rockhound, this is the place to stay!! They made a great recommendation for Blue Pointe Amethyst Mine and we had a BLAST! We will definitely be coming back. Best customer service we have ever received at a budget-friendly motel, hands down.
Fantastic room. Nice beds and had all the amenities. Front desk staff were amazing. Angie was terrific with handling our reservation and ensuring we were taken care of.Very nice and quaint Inn. Slept like home :)
Has everything you would need to be there a week or just a few days. It was a good cheap hotel with a stove, fridge, microwave and toaster. Rooms are a good size .
