Loved the experience we stayed twice here two different occasions and found the staff to be very friendly. The rooms were clean, great size and the continental breakfast was great. Both Ryan and Linda were both extremely helpful and the housekeeping team very friendly.
Rooms were dated and mostly clean. There was a group partying on our floor and the smell of pot was not super welcoming, couldn't say if this is a regular occurrence here or something that was shut down minutes after entering my own room. Beds were comfy, price was right, and location in the city is great.
We had a good previous stay a couple months ago so we didn't hesitate to stay again. This time our room (212) wasnt as clean. There were white stains on one bed and lots of hair in the bathroom. We told the front desk person that evening (Aug 20) and all he said to us was to "take the sheet off" and didn't do anything to fix the hair issue. We were not pleased with the response to the issue and most likely will not be staying at super 8 memorial again.
The room was great, it was a quiet and relaxing weekend. Adam at the front desk was AMAZING. He answered all my questions and went out of his way to make suggestions on great places to eat or things to do.
Pleasantly surprised. Room was clean, bathroom good and clean, staff was friendly and included breakfast was varied. Only thing is it seemed a bit expensive for thunder bay, but who knows...
